1931 ~ LOUIS SEIFERT ~ 2019
Louis Martin Seifert of Medicine Hat, Alberta and formally of the Hatton, Saskatchewan area, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Sandy and their children, Ardis (Wayne Terry) Lerner, Clint (Danette) Seifert, Heather (Warren) Belanger, Russell (Kristine) Crane and Jody (JP) Thibault and their families, his brother and sister in law, Herman and Marie Seifert, as well as a large extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Mary Seifert and his sister and brother in law, Marie and Junior Einspahr. Louis was born in Medicine Hat and grew up and spent his career farming and ranching from the land that his father homesteaded in 1914 in the Hatton area. During these years he was very actively involved in activities in the rural area, the town of Maple Creek, the Province and the Lutheran Church. In 1992, he was awarded a commemorative medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada by the Governor General in recognition of significant contribution to compatriots, community and to Canada. The Funeral Service will be held at ST. PAUL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 515 Sprague Way SE, on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Ken Edel officiating. Leroy “Richard” Bachmeier passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the age of 79 years, beloved husband of Pat Bachmeier of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory three children, Barry and his son Daniel, Jerry (Laurie) and James; two sisters, Eileen (Henry) Stoesz and Della (Ralph) Kurtz; and one sister-in-law Ann Bachmeier. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Henry Bachmeier and one brother Elmer. The family of Edith Garrecht announces her passing on January 18, 2019 at the age of 91 years. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband Peter on February 10, 2016. 1954 ~ 2019
It is with a heavy heart that Robert announces his beloved wife, Marlene Gail Coslovich, passed away at St. Joseph’s Home in Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the age of 64 years. Along with Robert, left to cherish Marlene’s memory are their children, Chris (Trina) Coslovich and their 4 children, Christine, Amy, Maverick and Jake; Michelle (Randy) Tokamp and their 2 children, Linkin and Kingston and Nichole (Chad) Knox and their 2 children, Cylee, and Paislee as well as another grandchild that Marlene was anticipating the arrival of. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon (Steve) Blackwell as well as numerous nieces, nephew, special friends and co-workers. Marlene was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Caroline Martin as well as Rob’s parents, Joseph and Rosa Coslovich and his brother, Rocky Coslovich. Marlene’s regular customers and random acquaintances always stopped in to see her at the jewelry store as she had a kindness and a willingness to help anyone. Marlene will be remembered for her contagious laugh and a smile that could brighten up any room. She loved her animals, family and above everything… her grandchildren whom she adored, spending every moment she could with them. She will be deeply missed!
