1932 ~ LILLIAN STOCK ~ 2018

Lillian "Lilly" Stock of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late David Stock, passed away at Sunnyview Care Centre on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Lilly leaves to cherish her memory her 3 children, Gloria (Lorne) Krauss of Elkwater, Lynn (Jayne) Stock of Okotoks and Neil (Cindy) Stock of Medicine Hat. Also remembering their “Gramma Lil” are 8 grandchildren, Lorna (Joel) Henschke, Monty (Andrea) Krauss, Kirk (Noella) Krauss, Penny (Lee) Pahl, Brad (Pam) Stock, Lacy Stock, Landon (Chenise) Stock and Jared (Sarah) Stock. Lilly also enjoyed her 11 great-grandchildren, Bailey and Jacob Henschke, Kade, Carter, Parker and Jessa Krauss, Rhett and Ryder Krauss and Wyatt, Dawson and Jaxon Pahl. Lilly is survived by her brother, Wallace (Alma) Wutzke; sisters, Jean (Sam) Maier and Shirley Vossler (Glen); sisters-in-law, Ruby Wutzke, Estella Herman and Ella Noble; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lilly was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, David in 2009; her parents, Theodore and Matilda Wutzke; and her brothers, Dave and Archie (Emma). Lilly married the love of her life David on December 18th, 1948. Lilly and David began their married life farming in the Thelma area where they were blessed with their 3 children. They moved to the Medicine Hat area in 1964, continuing to farm until their retirement to the city in the 1970's. Lilly did many a farm duties and upon moving to town, Lilly was the best seamstress in town from mending to making drapes, she was a car-hop at the A and W, a bus driver and babysitter, and even tried her hand at real estate. Many weekends were spent with Dave camping at Beaver Creek. Lilly was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. The Graveside Service will be held at SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. David J. Carter officiating. Following the graveside service there will be a luncheon held at the SAAMIS CREEKSIDE CENTRE, 11 Dunmore Road SE. 1941~ LEONARD PELLERIN ~ 2018

Leonard Donald Pellerin of Medicine Hat, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Leonard leaves to cherish his memory his two sons Daniel (Melanie) and Leonard Jr. Pellerin; his daughter Tracy Prevost (Robbie) Hockersmith; his granddaughter’s Katelyn Pellerin, Callie and Kennedy Robinson; his lifelong companion Stella Pellerin; his two sisters Jeannita (Val) Ouellet and Ella Cormier (Dennis). Leonard was predeceased by his parents Claude and Margaret Pellerin; and his sister Claudette. Leonard enjoyed his career working as a carpenter for many years. He had a love for his music and shared it with his musical friends. He loved his family very much and his granddaughters had a special place in his heart. He enjoyed life and lived it the way he always wanted. A private family ceremony will take place at a later date. Roeth “Ruth” Adele Marie Avery of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the age of 82 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Yolanda, Gerald and Denise; seven grandchildren and her sister, Ingrid. She was predeceased by her parents, Gerhardt and Sophie Krikke. 1936 ~ 2018

With heavy hearts the family of Evline Rabby, beloved wife of the late Edward Rabby, announces her passing at the Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at the age of 82 years. Evline was born in Jerusalem on March 7, 1936. As a young lady fluent in three languages, she began her career as a secretary in Lebanon and was later transferred to Canada. Soon after starting her new life in Calgary, she met her future husband, Edward. The couple were married in Calgary on June 20, 1970. They moved to Medicine Hat where they raised their family of three children. Evline continued to work, but as time went on she put her full effort into raising her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and always had something cooking to feed family, friends and neighbours… even if you weren’t hungry! Evline's door was always open and she truly welcomed any and all with open arms. Time spent with her family meant the world to her and she was always involved in their activities – she will be deeply missed. Evline will be remembered in the hearts of her children and grandchildren, Patrick (Jennifer) Rabby and their family, Sarah and Max; Michelle (Barry) Stigter and their family, Ethan, Eric and Kate; Philip (Crystal) Rabby and their family, Adilee and Peyson; sister, Nadia (George) Hanania and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Glen and Patricia Rabby, Richard and Liz Rabby as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Evline was predeceased by her husband, Edward as well as four brothers. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Vijaya Bathineni officiating.
