1927 ~ BARBARA WILLCOCKS ~ 2018

Mrs. Barbara Willcocks, beloved wife of Mr. George Willcocks, of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, July 19th, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Besides George, Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Paul Willcocks (Jody Paterson) of Victoria, John Willcocks of Medicine Hat, and Timothy Willcocks of Vancouver; five grandchildren, Rebecca (Gary) Todd of Gainesville, Fla., Sam Willcocks of Vancouver, Chelsea Tinnion of Montreal, Katherine Willcocks of Montreal, and Susan Willcocks of Montreal; and one great grandchild, Cerys Todd. Barbara was predeceased by one son, Mark Willcocks; her parents, Arthur and Nellie Jones; and one brother, William Jones. Barbara Jones was born in Toronto on July 28, 1927. She met and then married George Willcocks on September 9, 1950 in Toronto. Barbara and George have been long time residents of Medicine Hat. The funeral service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. David J. Carter officiating. Family and friends gathered together this past Monday at Hillside Cemetery to honour and celebrate the life of this remarkable lady. Although Chere will be dearly missed, the love of her memory will not be forgotten.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, Wayne Lagran.
Wayne passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his siblings, Bonnie Hegland, Kim (Bob) Ashby, Doug (Charlene) Lagran, Andy (Terry) Lagran and Time (Shelly) Lagran; eight nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Connie Butler (nee Beck) and her husband Jack Butler.
