1958 ~ BONITA GELLATELY ~ 2018
Bonita "Bonie" Jane Gellately, beloved wife of Ian Gellately of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at the age of 59 years. Bonie also leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jay of Medicine Hat; her daughter, Heather of Kelowna, British Columbia; and her father, Peter Hepfner of Medicine Hat. Bonie was predeceased by her mother, Frances Hepfner. Bonie was born on December 16th, 1958 in Medicine Hat, where she was raised and educated. She met and married Ian at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church on May 12th, 1979. Bonie worked as a Legal Secretary for many years at Pritchard and Company and later for Clinton Yarshenko. She enjoyed online casino playing, camping, crafting shadow boxes and the company of family and friends, who will miss her dearly. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. MARYLIN ANNE MCAULAY
Marylin Anne McAulay, of Calgary, Alberta and formerly of Redcliff, AB Niagara Falls, ON and Toronto, ON died peacefully in her sleep on July 5th, 2018 at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary. As the 2nd youngest of 8 children, she was born September 22nd, 1943 in Kirkland Lake, ON. She was predeceased by her parents Fern & Roland Turner, her 7 siblings Erline Nord, Bob, Ken, Rick & Bud Turner, Joyce Morris & Ruth Glover. As well as a handful of nieces and nephews including her very dear nephew Jim Nord.
Marylin enjoyed baking, cooking, entertaining and travelling, but her real love was spending time with her grandkids, family, friends & loved ones.
She is survived by her son David McAulay, his wife Darli, and her 4 grandchildren Jordan (Abby), Sawyer, Cooper & Keetly. In addition, she is survived by her sisters-in-law Pat and Penny Turner as well as numerous nieces & nephews, both great and great-great.
A memorial service in her honour will be held at the Gordon Memorial United Church in Redcliff, AB – 401 2nd St. SE at 1:00pm on Saturday July 21st, 2018.

SINGH
With her family by her side, Catherine Alice Singleton (Lucas) Singh passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the age of 88 years, lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend Johnne Singh of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory four children, Wanda(Warren) Stuber, Brenda Hemminger, Sharon Wick (Brad Stoski) and David (Faith) Singh; grandchildren Brandi (Max) and Breann, Ben, Rueben (Erna) and Tyler (Melissa), Rhenee (Jason), Richelle (Quintin), Chelsey (Dustin) and Shane, Ebony and Jessica, eleven great grandchildren, one sister Ivadell Davidson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Randy; daughter-in-law Shelley; son-in-law Jerry; her parents, Elsie and William Lucas; brother Murray Lucas and sister Dorene Badger. Cathy grew up on the farm in Leney, Saskatchewan and after meeting the love of her life Johnne, they settled in Medicine Hat. She loved animals, and had a passion for flowers, especially yellow roses. Her beautiful flower beds were an expression of her green thumb. Cathy also was a fantastic seamstress, sewing clothes, costumes, wedding gowns, grad dresses, curtains, and upholstering furniture for her kids and grandkids. Everyone looked forward to Grandma’s homemade spudnuts, fudge, and her turkey dinners out at the lake, where her and Johnne spent as much time as they could. They were never apart and celebrated 60 years together this spring. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Medicine Hat Hospital (5 East) and St. Joseph’s Hospice for providing comforting care, and to Leisure Way, for loving her like family.
