WOLFER

Lucille Mae Wolfer of Medicine Hat passed away at Masterpiece River Ridge on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at the age of 86 years. Lucille was born in Burstall, Saskatchewan on March 8, 1930, the only daughter of John and Christine Wolfer. She attended school in Burstall and in 1949, moved to Medicine Hat with her parents where she has resided since. Because of her strong will and determination, Lucille was able to work, travel and live independently despite her disability. She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Veiner Centre for many years. Lucille was predeceased by her father John in 1993, her mother Christina in 1999. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved girls, the Reiman twins, Doreen and Maureen. Lucille and her parents loved them as their own. Lucille is survived by her family Doreeen (Jim) Osgood and their children Jarrett (Dori) Osgood (Danika and Madison), Jillian (Dennis) Reginato (Isabela, Emmaleah), Matthew (Vanessa) Osgood; Maureen (Ib) Sorensen and their children Kaylee (Mike) Terriff (Kieran, Kaiah), Kel (Brittany) Sorensen (Lily, Ryker). Lucille was so blessed to have been loved by her many cousins and special friends. She was grateful for their continued loyalty, love and support for so many years. A special mention to Ruth Pahl who, over the past 18 months, enjoyed lunch with Lucille six days a week. Her love and devotion to Lucille is so appreciated. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday morning from 9:30 – 10:25 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Findley officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
