Jean Thomson, beloved wife of Thomas "Tom" Thomson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Jean also leaves to cherish her memory one son, David (Valarie) Thomson; one son-in-law, Dan Rigby and their families. Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Rigby. 1950 ~ RUSSELL ~ 2016

Garry Calvin Russell, beloved husband of Joan Russell of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at the age of 65 years. Garry also leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Sandra Russell and Dawn (Nathan) Shorten; his mother, Emma Russell; four grandchildren, Josh, Jack, Olivia and Madyson Shorten; one sister, Carrol (Dwight) Knox; one sister-in-law, Vivien Fiesel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Garry was predeceased by his father, Calvin Russell; and one brother, Dale Russell. Garry was born on December 3rd, 1950 in Brooks, Alberta. He married Joan Rawleigh on March 24th, 1973 in Tilley, Alberta. Garry frequently enjoyed a game of golf with his golf buddies. He loved spending time with his grandkids and will be missed dearly by his family and many friends. 1966 ~ EISENBARTH ~ 2016

Michele Elizabeth Eisenbarth, beloved wife of Gordon Eisenbarth, passed away Sunday, November 20th, 2016. She leaves this world to join loving parents Reg and Jean Vine. Her memory is cherished by Gord and their three children: Alex, Mathew, and Andrea. Shelly leaves three brothers; Bruce (Dolores) Vine, Dale (Debbie) Vine, Murray (Wendy) Vine; two sisters; Carol Nieman (Dave Lee), Mary-Lou (Luciano) Dalla-Longa; and dear friends Pat and Chuck Bouman. Gord’s family mourns Michele’s loss: Karen Eisenbarth (Wayne Law); Samantha Hunter (Ralph Stuut) and Terry (Theresa) Eisenbarth. Auntie Shell is dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by Herb, Lottie and Randy Eisenbarth.
Michele grew up in Redcliff, where in her youth she was a lifeguard at the pool. She later attended Lethbridge College and acquired a diploma in Environmental Sciences. She lived and worked in Hay River, NWT as well as Calgary, AB before returning home to marry Gord and start a family.
Those who wish may attend an informal Time of Remembrance to be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at THE DREAM CENTRE, 1714 Saamis Drive NW, on Friday, November 25th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Interment will take place at Redcliff Cemetery.

Kelvin Charles Meier of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016 at the age of 49 years. Kelvin leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Brittney (Cody) Weiss, Laura Meier and Chelsea Sulz; his father, Charles Meier; his mother, Peggy Crouch; one grandson, Cooper Weiss; one step-granddaughter, Jayla Weiss; his grandma, Theresia Gertner; his beloved canine companion, Minnie Mouse; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Kelvin was predeceased by his grandparents, Veronica and Joseph Meier; and his grandpa, Philip Gertner. Kelvin, also known as Hightower, was born on February 15th, 1967 in Medicine Hat. He enjoyed fishing and spending his mornings at Tim Horton's. He was on dialysis for over 10 years. Kelvin was a proud grandpa and was so proud to walk his first daughter down the aisle at her wedding. Mrs. Frances Edelmann passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice on Monday, November 21, 2016, at the age of 75 years. Left to cherish Frances’ memory are her children, Penny (Ernie) Arrenegado and Donald (Connie) Edelmann; grandchildren, Lacy (Ricky) Mehew, Bobi Edelmann, Katie Edelmann, Krista Gomke and Chance Edelmann. Harvey Irvine Geigle of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the age of 82 years, beloved husband of the late Esther Geigle. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Debbie Bowser of Medicine Hat and Darcy (Laurie) Geigle of Irvine; three grandchildren, Shaylee Geigle (Delwyn Mezei), Danika Bowser, Taylor Geigle (Logan Skagen). He was predeceased by his special friend Marj Goller on March 17, 2016 and is survived by her family Marie (Fern) Duperreault, James (Diane) Goller and Lori (Andy) Fedechko and their families. He also leaves to cherish his memory one brother Leslie Geigle of Medicine Hat, one sister, Violet (Clarence) Mock of Medicine Hat and two sisters-in-law Joyce (Lavern) Rose and Shirley Elhart all of Medicine Hat as well as his nieces and nephews Tannis (Alvin) Seefried, Linda Elhart (Brad Eresman), Aaron (Cindy) Elhart, Larry Daffy and Keith (Janice) Rose. GLEN KINCHEN ROSA

1932-2016
Glen Kinchen Rosa passed away peacefully at Medicine Hat Hospital on November 18, 2016.
Glen is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Irma, their daughter Carla, brothers Warren (Annie); Jack (Lorraine); Dale (Dorothy); and brother-in-law Gilbert Staven.
Glen is lovingly remembered by his sister Audrey Staven, son-in-law Leonard Smith (Joy), grandchildren Samantha, Mason, Jacob, Benjamin, Skylar, and Noah. Glen will be missed and remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his lifelong friends.
Glen was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan on August 25, 1932. When he was about 12 he quit organized school then graduated from the school of Hard Knocks and went on to be a very successful businessman. Glen felt honoured to be a life long member of the Masonic Lodge, plus memberships in the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge and the Elks Club.
Upon retirement Glen and Irma's passions were traveling and genealogy which lead to meeting new found family members. Glen loved playing bridge and hosting LARGE parties especially in Arizona where he loved to spend his winters. Family and friends were very important to Glen and he made an effort to stay connected with everyone – young and old.

JASON LEISMEISTER

1979 ~ 2016

It is with deep regret that the family of Jason Leismeister announce his passing in Medicine Hat on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the age of 36 years. Jason was born November 27, 1979 in Medicine Hat where he resided his entire life. As a young man, he gained employment with Lawrence Meier Trucking (LMT) and was a dedicated, loyal employee for 18 years. He was a hard worker who always took pride in what he did. Jason worked his way from the ground up and as he advanced and became foreman, and then superintendant of operations, he maintained an excellent rapport with his colleagues. When he wasn’t working he loved working out, listening to rap music and everything and anything to do with hockey! He specially loved watching his son, Dre play, and socializing with the hockey parents. Jason was a strong man with a soft heart and an amazing dad! He loved spending time with his friends and family but most of all he loved spending time with his son, Dre. They had a special trip to Australia in 2014, where during their trip, they went to an Eminem concert, made many memories and most importantly bonded as father and son. Jason’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family including his son, whom he was so proud of, Dre; parents, Melvin (Peggy) Leismeister and Wendy (deceased) (Lorne Lehman; brother, Mike Moore (Kara) and neice, Kennedy; step-sister, Rose (George) Day and step-brother, Clayton Gobeil; two special friends, Nikki Bryant and Leanne Jacobs as well as numerous aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins and extended family. Jason was predeceased by his mother, Wendy Lehman and grandparents, Dean (June) Moore and Jack (Lily) Leismeister. SQUIRE, KERRY LYNN

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kerry Lynn Squire on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the age of 42 years.
Kerry was a loving person who was happiest when surrounded by her friends and family. She was always the first one to lend a hand or an ear when someone needed help. She will be greatly missed by many.
Kerry leaves behind her husband, Dennis; their children, Michael and Johanna; her parents, Sandra Killan and Leonard Hanson; brother, Duke Hanson; sister, Krista Hanson; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. She is predeceased by her infant daughter Rochelle Bernice.
