ANDREW JOHN CONDON
Dec. 1, 1954 – Nov. 2, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew in Toronto, Ontario. Born in England, he came to Canada with his parents in 1956. He attended school here, graduating from Crescent Heights High School in 1972. His career and training took him to Fanshawe College, London, Ont. to train as a Recording Engineer. Later, he became an Acoustics Engineer, designing studios for recording and post-production of films. He designed studios in Montreal, Toronto and New York. For many years he battled health problems from a brain tumour, eventually being brain-damaged after neurosurgery. He was bed-ridden in Hospital for almost seven years.
He leaves to mourn him his beloved wife, Karen, mother Joyce, brothers Richard (Judy), David (Janice), nephews Eric (Jessica) and Scott and niece Rachel and many friends. He was pre-deceased by his father, Peter, in 2013.
Cremation and a Memorial Service took place in Toronto on Nov. 8. with all family present.

1926 – 2016
Gordon Raymond Evans, beloved husband of Annabelle Evans, passed away in Bow Island on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 7:00 P.M.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of sixty seven years Annabelle, son Darwin (Debbie) Evans of Lethbridge and daughter Dalyce (Rick) Wiest of Enchant; grandchildren Lisa (Dave) Liptak, Bryce (Kristie) Evans, Clayton (Britnee) Wiest, Cory Wiest and Carson Wiest; great grandchildren David John, Kayce, Diezel, Parker and Kamryn. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Julius Schlachter and Ed (Marie) Schlachter.
He was predeceased by his parents O’Renzel and Doris Evans; father and mother-in-law Ralph and Kate Schlachter and sister-in-law Helen Schlachter.
Gordon was born in Raymond on October 23, 1926 to O’Renzel and Doris Evans. He farmed in the Winnifred area. Gordon enjoyed holidays in the United States as well he had a passion for shiny black lincolns. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He will be lovingly remembered.

Joan Agnes Wahl of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the age of 89 years, beloved wife of the late Jacob Wahl. She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Eugene Wahl, Robert (Akiko) Wahl, Barry Wahl and Terri (Herman) Vandenbroek. She was predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Earl Anderson and by her husband Jacob on July 9, 2002. At Joan’s request, no funeral service will be held.
