EVA FEIFFER

November 2, 1923 August 18, 2016

Eva Feiffer returned to her heavenly home on August 18, 2016, at the age of 92. Born November 2, 1923, on the family farm southwest of Mendham, Saskatchewan to Clemens & Wilhelmina Stroh. Eva grew-up on a farm with 13 siblings. As a teenager and young adult she was always a hard worker, but her fondest memories were of playing ball. In her 20’s, she moved to Moose Jaw with her best friend and sister, Emma. That is where she met Victor and they later married on September 5, 1953. They moved to the family farm near Bayard where Thane, Selene, and Sonia were born. In 1973, they moved to Leader and in 1989, retired to Medicine Hat. Eva loved being a grandmother and her grandchildren were her pride and joy! She spent endless hours with them playing indoors and outdoors and loved them unconditionally. When the great-grandchildren came, she found room in her heart for them as well. She spent her last year in Valleyview Assisted Living and stayed active playing cards, exercising, baking and always taking the time to smile and hug the residents that were less fortunate than her. Eva will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her children: Thane (Lynette) Feiffer, Selene Kiltau and Sonia (Mario) Biemans; grandchildren, Teana (Zane) Hayes, Vanessa (Derek) Price, Elissa Mudry (Brett Brochu), Travis (Becky) Feiffer, Shannon Kiltau, Nick (Jess) Feiffer, Matthew Biemans, Kyra Biemans, Taylor Johnson and Riley Feiffer; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Quinn and Kylie Price; Caden, Abrie and Cohen Hayes; Mason, Luke and Kate Feiffer; Decker Feiffer and Ryder Johnson. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild or a loved one. Time waits for no one… Vigil Prayers will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, August 22, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Albert Sayson celebrant. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with fellowship and refreshments thereafter in the Holy Family Parish Hall.
