1943 ~ MILLER ~ 2016

Sharon Eloise Miller of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Jim Miller, passed away on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Sharon leaves to cherish her memory two children, Jodi (Phillip) Perry and Jeffrey (Candice) Miller; four grandchildren, Meagan, Jaiden, Kyuss and Korben; two brothers, Terry (Jan) Seitz and Tom Seitz (Lynn Nelson); and in-laws, Milly (Allan) Korchinski, Delores Waugh, and Charlotte (Sheldon) Jobb. Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Jim Miller; her parents, Dave and Margaret Seitz; one brother, Dave Seitz; and in-laws, Frank and Josephine Miller. Sharon was born on October 5th, 1943 in Medicine Hat. She attended Elm Street School, Alexandra School, and graduated from Medicine Hat High School. She married James Miller on September 23rd, 1967 in Medicine Hat. Sharon worked as a secretary at Goodyear from the late 1980's until retiring in 2008. She loved reading, watching sports especially at playoff time, cooking and baking. Sharon truly enjoyed the company of her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital and the Home Care staff who have looked after mom. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with Gary W. Mrs. Florence Parker passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the age of 97 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced upon completion.
