1979 ~ BROWN ~ 2016

Jillian Kathleen Brown, beloved daughter of Kenny and Pam Amero of Medicine Hat, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 in Calgary at the age of 36 years. Jill is survived by her daughters, Madeline Thibodeau of Digby, Nova Scotia, and Willow Brown of Medicine Hat; her brothers, Jason (Mary) Roland, Joel (Lindsey) Roland, Jonathan (Mary Ellen) Amero, and Jeremiah Amero; her special uncles, Doug, Mike and Dave, who were always there for her; her best friend, Jason Miller (her "J"); as well as her many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jill was predeceased by her older brother, Craig Amero. Life began for Jill on October 3rd, 1979 in St. Catherine's, Ontario. She spent her childhood in Digby and Bear River, Nova Scotia moving to Medicine Hat in 1995. As a child, Jill was our little social butterfly – loving, kind, always wanting to please. She joined the Baptist Church Youth Group, took piano lessons, liked to ski, skate and swim, and excelled at building things with wood. She had friends all across Canada. The love in her heart never faded. As Jill grew up, she became our little gypsy moving from here to there. Jill enjoyed cooking (especially baked chicken and spaghetti). She enjoyed attending church throughout her life and most of all, Jill loved her girls with all her heart. Rest in Peace our sweet angel. Love you forever and always, to the moon and back. The Funeral Service will be held at FIFTH AVENUE MEMORIAL UNITED CHURCH at a later date. Memorial gifts in Jill's memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association, 204 – 1865 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1Z8.
