Henry (George) Kusler of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Kusler, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at the age of 96 years. George leaves to cherish his memory two children, Darcy (Micky) Kusler and their children, Kit and Ann of Maple Creek and Karen (Chris) Young of Medicine Hat; one brother, Ben and sisters, Ruth Krausz and Frances Morley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, brothers, Eugene and Art and his youngest daughter, Deborah Kusler. George was born south of Walsh, Alberta on November 10, 1919, to Caroline and Henry Kusler. He married Marjorie (Johnston) in Moose Jaw on October 1, 1949, and they began their life together on a farm in the Graburn area. George loved the land, both farming and ranching. In 1967, they bought the Naismith Ranch in the Cypress Hills and knew they had a “little piece of heaven”. Travels throughout the US and as far away as Australia and New Zealand focused on touring farms and ranches and looking for ideas to improve their operation. George will be remembered for his dedication and the love for his family, his easy going and gentle demeanor and his winning ways at rummy and bingo! A private memorial will be held at a later date. Myron Dwayne Kulyk was born to Myroslav and Irene Kulyk on June 28, 1957 in Cereal, Alberta and passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2016.
Myron is survived by his wife Pam; daughter Amanda (Rick) Kroeger and children Axle, Tiffany and Max; son Blake and children Alyssa and Ashlyn; daughter Tammie; son Kirk; parents Myroslav and Irene; brother Randy (Sandra); father-in-law Dell Johnson; uncle Evhyn; brother-in-law Burt (Seline) Anderson; sister-in-law Bonnie (Kelly) Ross; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and aunt.
Myron was predeceased by his grandparents Anton and Paranka (Pearl) Kulyk, Steve and Victoria Lesiak; mother-in-law Violet Anderson-Johnson; Uncle Ted Lesiak; as well as numerous other relatives.
Memorial tributes may be directed to the Buffalo & District Agriculture Society, General Delivery, Buffalo, Alberta, T0J 0K0; or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Rachel Schorr of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Michael “Mike” Schorr, passed away peacefully in the Medicine Hat Region Hospital on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Rachel was born in Walsh, Alberta on September 26, 1922 to Christian and Katherina Redelback. She was their only daughter, had eight brothers and was raised on the farm south of Walsh until she married Mike Schorr in 1944. Mike and Rachel farmed and ranched in the Robinson district where they raised their three children. Rachel loved the life of living in a farming community. She was known to all as a kind, loving, hard working woman with a great sense of humor and a big heart who never spoke poorly of anyone. She loved gardening and later in life enjoyed her crochet work, which was beautiful, but her greatest passion was spending time with her family. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend. Rachel was predeceased by her parents; her husband Michael; daughter-in-law Arlene and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert (Bertha), John, Christ, Reuben, Fred (Helen), Art (Lavina), Clifford (Audrey), and Frank. She was also predeceased by Mike’s family, Arnold (Hilda), Emil (Hilda), Albert (Irene) and Elsie (Bill) Heller. Rachel’s memory will be treasured in the hearts of her family; her son, Stan (Mavis) Schorr, daughter, Sharon (Clive) Keeler and son, Brian (Kelly) Schorr; as well as her twelve grandchildren Dana (Bruce) Timko, Lori (Scott) Schall, Lisa (Zane) Ziedell, Mike Keeler, Sonya Keeler (Ron), Andrea Nguyen (Dan), Erin (Kelly) Larson, Randi Schorr, Cole (Megan) Schorr, Damien Audette, Danielle (Joey) Davis, and Robbi (Dustin) Turcotte; and twenty two great grandchildren. Rachel also leaves to cherish her memory, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Benny and Erna Schorr; her sisters-in-law, Lavina and Betty Redelback as well as numerous nephews and nieces. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. ROY BUSCHOLL
December 6, 1955 – January 3, 2016
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Roy Buscholl on Sunday, January 3, 2016 after his courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60 years.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Carol and their two sons, Brayden and Jarrett. Roy is also survived by his parents, Jim & Mary Buscholl; sister, Audrey; brothers Ray (Cindy), Ron (Lydia) & Russell (Kim); mother-in-law & father-in-law, Evelyn & Bill Plummer; sister-in-laws, Linda (Larry) & Sheila (Norbert); brother-in-laws, Ron (Violet) & Eric; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was born and raised in Prelate, Saskatchewan and left the family farm in 1973 to pursue employment with CP Rail in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Roy met his wife Carol while in Medicine Hat, and the couple transferred to Winnipeg in 1995 where they raised their family. Roy retired in 2011 after working for CP Rail for 37 years. Roy was a kind and generous man and will be greatly missed by his large family and many friends.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life was held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the RBC Convention Center, Winnipeg, MB. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1 o'clock.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Roy may be made to a charity of ones choice.

WIGLE
Richard Oliver Wigle passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the age of 54 years after a courageous struggle with ALS, beloved husband of Jan Wigle of Medicine Hat and loving father of Nicolas Wigle (Keanna Bertin) and grandfather of Oliver. He will also be mourned by his mother, Rita Wigle; one brother, Ray (Mindah) Wigle and one sister, Rachael (Jean) Caron; his mother-in-law Jeanne Hunter and sister-in-law Kim (Rick) McClymont as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Raymer Wigle and by his father-in-law Jimmy Hunter.
Rick was born in Stratford, Ontario on May 22nd, 1961, and grew up in Ingersoll Ontario. He excelled in school and in many sports.
In 1982, while attending the University of Western Ontario, he was offered a job with Federal Corrections and moved out west to Drumheller, Alberta. After five years in corrections, he was finally able to realize his dream of following in his father's footsteps by becoming a police officer when he was offered a position with the Medicine Hat Police Service in 1987. It was while he was in training that he met the love of his life, Jan. They were married on October 13th, 1988, and settled in Medicine Hat. In 1996, Rick became a father, and Nick was everything to him. In May of 2015, Rick was blessed with his beautiful grandson Oliver, who brought him much joy during his most difficult months.
Rick had a true passion for life. He gave his everything into everything he did. He loved his family, his friends and his job. He was fortunate enough be able to travel extensively with his family and friends during his life. He left no stone unturned.
