1917 ~ KIM ~ 2015

Chool Lie Kim of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Jin Gu Yu, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Chool Lie leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mary (Chuck) Park and family. Doris Ada Greenwood, beloved wife of Mostyn Greenwood of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Doris also leaves to cherish six children and their families. 1936 ~ FOSTER ~ 2015

Frederick James Foster was born July 27, 1936, in Empress, Alberta. He died September 29, 2015, in Medicine Hat, Alberta at the age of 79 years.
Fred grew up in Empress as well as Estuary, Saskatchewan. He began his education at a rural school, Chesterfield, five miles from the family farm. After completing high school, he took a six-week Emergency Training course and began teaching in 1956. Over the next years, he completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. He also received a Senior Certificate in Industrial Arts, which became the focus of a 19-year career in teaching. He then built and managed the Olympic Motel in Oyen. After moving to Medicine Hat, he renovated a number of apartments, built his own house, and renovated and managed the Forksview Motel in Empress.
Fred is predeceased by his wife Hannelore; parents, Norman and Alice Dodd Foster; and his brother, Gordon. He will be fondly remembered by daughter, Brenda Cromer (Ray); granddaughters, Madeline and Gabrielle; brothers, Joseph Foster (Kay) and Arthur Foster (Elizabeth), nephews, Robert and Doug; cousins, Bernice Harding and Vernon Dodd; stepdaughter, Marina Phillips and children, Joshua and Lily; and stepson, Franco Isernia (Shelly) and children Zanetti and Mriseis.
The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. SHELLEY HOFF

1965 – 2015
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shelley Dawn Hoff, beloved partner of Durwin Noble announce her passing at the St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Friday, October 2, 2015, at the age of 50 years. Shelley spent her formidable schooling years in Medicine Hat before moving to England where she spent three years serving in the Army. She worked as a consultant with Herbal Magic for the past 10 years. Shelley was an avid shopper and liked to draw, cook, watch wrestling and was a devoted Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. She was a very caring and loving person towards people and animals and was never one to complain about anything. Shelley was always willing to help others and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Shelley will forever be remembered in the hearts of, Durwin Noble; daughter, Brittnee Sievwright; granddaughter, Annabella; brother, Jim Way; Durwin’s parents, Bob and Liz Noble, his family and close friends, Colleen and Dana. Shelley was predeceased by her parents, Bella and Jim Doherty. A Celebration of Shelley’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, October 9, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz, officiating.
