1920 ~ WEISGERBER ~ 2015

Eva Weisgerber of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Weisgerber, passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Eva leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joseph (Debbie), Bruno (Cynthia), Marie (Clarence) Ibach, John (Karen), Catherine (David) Koch, Michael (Michelle), and Theresa (David) Kungel; thirty grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Rose Marie) Tuchscherer; one sister, Julia Mastel; her in-laws, Bill and Theresa Weisgerber and Tillie Koester; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be said at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Philip Le, Celebrant. A Private Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Section at Hillside Cemetery. 1956 ~ MEYERS SAMAYOA ~ 2015

Julia Meyers Samayoa, beloved wife of Edward "Ed" Meyers of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, June 26th, 2015 at the age of 59 years. Julia also leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Natalia Samayoa Lukacin (John Lukacin) of Medicine Hat; two sons, Jose (Jennifer) Samayoa and Francisco Samayoa, both of Lethbridge; her parents, Reynaldo and Julia Borja; four grandchildren, James and Julia Samayoa, Jonnae and Tycen Lukacin; one future grandchildren, Noah; five brothers, Tony, Milton, Eric (Nora), Edwin (Isabel), and Wilfredo (Karina); one sister, Delmy; the father of her children, Antonio Samayoa; step-daughter, Nicole (Nathan) Schuetzle; her nephew, Ozzy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Julia loved people, she loved her family. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. Saturday morning at the Meyers' house, Julia's family gathered for good food and lots of love and laughter. Anyone who knew Julia grew quickly to love her because of her caring personality and her peace-loving nature. Julia was fiercely loyal to those she loved. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit; she could make anyone laugh. She loved music and dancing. Mr. Arthur Donald (Don) White of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Rose White, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on June 27, 2015, at the age of 91 years.

MARGARET (PEGGY) ELIZABETH ULLAND

Margaret (Peggy) Elizabeth Ulland, resident of Peace River, formerly of Eaglesham, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Grande Prairie at the age of 91 years.
Peggy was born November 7, 1923, in Medicine Hat, AB, and was raised at Burstall, SK on her parent’s farm. Peggy was home-schooled by her mom, then went to county school and then to Maple Creek to finish grade 12. Peggy went to University of Saskatchewan and was a school teacher, farmer, wife, mother, and friend. She had a vivid memory which was often used as a resource to family and friends. She had a sense of humour, was a story teller, like playing games and had an interest in genealogy and history.
Peggy loved gardening and flowers, visiting with friends, was an avid reader, keeping in touch with relatives and friends by email and phone, and she also enjoyed doing committee work. She was well known for her memory of dates and details of events and telling stories of her memorable life, well known for her strong faith and church community.
Peggy was a World War II veteran as a Meteorologist Technician in Saskatoon. As a School Teacher in Eaglesham, and then in her retirement she wrote short stories, some of which were published.
Her fondest memories were of her parents and family, life on the prairies, her family life in Eaglesham on the farm and in town, travel and family and community gatherings.
Peggy loved getting to know people one on one, she had compassion and gifts towards needs in developing countries.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Robert (Susan) Gartly, Charles (Shirley) Ulland, Margaret (Hugh) Seaton; grandchildren: Karl (Katreena) Gartly, Rosemary (Christian) Whelpdale, Barbara (Ryan) Bauman, Mitchell Bosley, Alison Bosley, Elliott Ulland, Geneva Seaton, Gabe Seaton and Julianne Seaton; great-grandchildren Turner and Ayla Gartly; sisters Mary Chapman of Saskatoon and Anne (Jack) McCracken of Edmonton and their families; as well as the Gartly extended families.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Gilbert Ulland, first husband George Gartly, parents Lucy and Jack Morgan, brother and sister-in- law John (Marge) Morgan and brother-in-law Rev. Bill Chapman, and infant granddaughter Cheryl Gartly.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00pm at Eaglesham Community Church, in Eaglesham.

Phyllis May Osborne of Medicine Hat passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at the age of 88 years. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant, David Townsend. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
