.A week ago today, many family and friends gathered at the Cypress Centre to celebrate the life of Ron “R.J.” Johnson. Chaplain Lisa Waites led the service of love and thanksgiving for a man who gave of himself to his family and community alike. Pianist, Vicki Tellman provided the beautiful accompaniment for the congregational hymns, while Alan paid tribute to a friend and brother-in-law, who was passionate about his work for environmental causes as well as his life on the ranch raising horses. A time of fellowship followed as everyone admired the impressive display of Ron’s achievements and memorabilia.
I’ve lived a good life,
A Cowboy’s dream come true
I’m ready to ride into eternity
Me, my horse and You.
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.
