.It has been just over one week since family and friends gathered together at Victory Lutheran Church to celebrate the life of Lillian Bateman. Minister de Waal led the congregation through this journey of remembrance that included spiritual words from Reverend Scheske, a tribute from Reverend Don Reid as well as numerous faith inspired musical selections. Before saying their final farewells to Lil at Hillside Cemetery, family were joined by friends in the Church Hall where everyone shared in a beautiful luncheon prepared by the Victory Lutheran Women.
She lived a full life,
100 years blessed,
Now in God’s care,
Perfect peace…
