.A week ago today, family and many friends of Edward Codd united at Cook’s to say goodbye and to honour his life. The service began as the family entered the chapel and the grandchildren ceremoniously placed a Lily in one of Grandpa’s cowboy boots… Life Celebrant Gerry Getz led the service with kind words in reflection of Ed’s life… his family was most important to him; and his son, Rick offered heartfelt thoughts of his dad… the grandchildren all stood united and spoke warmly of their grandpa while old memories and stories were told… family privately made their way to Hillside Cemetery and said their heartfelt goodbye’s to a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Walking with Grandpa,
matching the steps of his boots…
Etched in your memory,
Will be you family roots.
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.
