He purchased a 1960 Pontiac hard top, and added a state of the art record player which was bought on a trip to the states with his friend Ken Deck. It was his pride and joy! Dad enjoyed doing carpentry and creating leather work, such as purses, belts and wallets for friends and family. On more than one occasion he had some spare parts left over after his repairs were completed, but the item worked.
