.A week ago today, on a warm spring afternoon, many friends and neighbours gathered with the family at Cook Southland in a farewell celebration for John Tevel. Along with his favorite musical selections and a video tribute which highlighted John’s life, Celebrant Getz shared thoughtful words from close friends about a man whose life was lived to the fullest. He treasured every moment in time with those he loved, attending rodeo’s and helping with many branding parties. John worked hard but played even harder. He will be missed by all who knew him.
To the one we knew and loved so dear,
Always in our hearts, forever near.
His Life Lived…
His Life Cherished…
His Life Honoured.
