Elizabeth “Betty” Marjorie Bohnet passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Betty was born to Jacob and Christina Nittle on July 7th, 1943, the youngest of four daughters, and was raised on their farm near the Little Plume Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Wilbert Bohnet; and three children: Karen (Les) Darr of Red Deer and their children, Tori and Haley; Kelly (Cindy) Bohnet and their children, Richelle (Myles) Mulholland and children Kaitlyn and Tyler, Jenny (Shawn) Yanke and children Jazmin and Zander, Cristin (Ryan) Vallely and children Mea and Austin, and Kelvin (Brenda) Bohnet and their daughter, Miranda, all of Medicine Hat; two sisters, Doreen Stuber of Medicine Hat and Elsie (Marcel) Lambert of Okotoks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Christina Nittle; one sister, Annie Nittle, and two grandchildren, Pamela and Daniel. Miriam Jensen of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Miriam leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Bob (Holly) McFarlane and Wayne (Shawna) McFarlane; two daughters, Shelley (Jon) McFarlane and June (Perry) Wilson; six grandchildren, Jennifer McFarlane, Chrissy DeGeer, Eddie McFarlane, Andrew Wilson, Marlayna Wilson and Gary Wilson; eleven great- grandchildren; one brother, John (Irene) McArthur; one sister, Kathy McArthur; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Miriam was born on November 1st, 1943 in Orangeville, Ontario. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Miriam enjoyed bowling and bingo and loved meeting people that came in to Walmart where she worked as a greeter. Fenton Boyd Blair passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014, at the age of 100 years, beloved husband of Mattie for over 75 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Pat (Stan) Bohnet; daughter-in-law, Connie Blair; five grandchildren, Jim (Marilyn), Scott (Rose), Kelly (Robert), Barb (Curt) and Blair; several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Ida Maud (Boyd) and William Alexander Blair; his son Bill Blair, his brother Russel (Nellie) Blair; sister-in-law, Grace (George) Jessop and one great granddaughter Kimberly Blair. Fenton was born and raised in Granum and attended Olds School of Agriculture where he met Mattie and knew she was the one! They married December 3, 1935, and spent the next 68 years ranching and farming in Granum before moving to Medicine Hat in 2003. They both enjoyed riding their horses in parades, cattle drives and the Seniors Rodeo; travelling to various locations around the world. Camping and visiting with friends and family were cherished events. Thank you to all who helped in his care. We greatly appreciate everything that was done for him. A “Celebration of Life” tea will be held at Masterpiece River Ridge Retirement Home (River Ridge Drive NW) on Saturday February 22, 2014 between 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Granum Cemetery in the spring. August 20, 1941-February 17, 2014

Henry Bosch passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his loving wife Vivian of 48 years along with their three children, Marcel; Steven and his sons Hunter and TJ; Lynnae (Trevor) and their twins Eric and Jenna. Also, Henry’s siblings: Aloise (Carol) Bosch, George (Marlene) Bosch, Ralph (Patricia) Bosch, Theresa (Alex) Macaulay, Bill (Georgina) Bosch, August Soehn Joan Bosch and Edith Bosch. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Ottilia, brothers Fred, Joe, John, and Clem, and sisters Barbara and Magdalen. Henry always made time and enjoyed his many nephews and nieces and their families. Henry, one of twelve siblings, was raised on a farm two miles west of the Great Sand Hills. He started with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in 1964 at Burstall and then was stationed at Swift Current on December 1, 1964 where he was employed in the Farm Service Division of Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for most of his 33 years of employment. He retired on May 1, 1997 as Manager. Henry married Vivian Wagner in 1965 and they lived most of their married life in Swift Current. Henry couldn’t do enough for his wife, children and grandchildren or give enough praise to them for their achievements. Henry and Vivian enjoyed travelling. His faith was always a priority and was nurtured by reflecting on Scripture reading. He remembered many in daily prayer and was a listening ear to those at coffee row. Henry was a Life Member of the Knights of Columbus which involved him in many community activities such as Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed sports activities, loved curling and hockey during the winter months which made him an enthusiastic Bronco fan. He spent much time following his sons in hockey and enjoyed the camaraderie of other parents. He loved the competition of fishing with others and also the serenity of fishing alone at the cottage at Beaver Flat on Diefenbaker Lake. Henry always looked forward to the yearly Bosch Cattle Branding and round-up at the Community Pasture near the Sand Hills. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ the Redeemer Parish on February 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Christ the Redeemer Building Fund, 600 Circle Drive, Swift Current, Sask. .ESTELLA GRACE YEAST
May 18, 1925 – February 20, 2014
Estella Grace Yeast passed away peacefully on February 20, 2014 at Medicine Hat, Alberta. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Denyse), David, Perry (Marlene), and daughter Joanne (Murray), Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Helen Maclean, and brothers William (Muriel) and Gerald (Wilma). Estella was born to William John and Ethel Dorcas MacPhee on May 18, 1925 at MacPhee Corner Village, Nova Scotia. She grew up, third from the youngest, in a family of seventeen children. In 1929 her family moved to a dairy farm near Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. It was here that she received her education at the Shubenacadie District school. She trained as a hair dresser and worked at the Blue Moon Salon in Halifax.Estella met Perry (P.A.) Yeast at a Saddie Hawkins dance at Debert, Nova Scotia. Perry was stationed there during World War II with the Canadian Air Force. She asked P. A. to dance. He replied that he didn’t know how. She said, “Well you can try can’t you”! Perry never looked back and they were married November 7, 1945. Estella came west with Perry to the family ranch at Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. Life on the prairies was somewhat more rustic than what Estella was use to. There was no running water or electric power. She courageously followed P.A. and in 1947 they established the Black Eagle Ranch south west of Elkwater. Together they raised a family of four children, Robert (Denyse) Yeast of Calgary, David (Judy) Yeast of Seven Persons, Joanne (Murray) Johnston of Eston, Saskatchewan, Perry (Marlene) Yeast of Elkwater.
Estella was a remarkable cook, spotless homemaker and a gracious hostess. She served countless meals to family, those working the ranch and to the numerous guests P.A. invited home. She always made everyone feel welcome and made sure they were well fed. Her apple pie was renowned and a family favorite.
Estella and P.A. retired to Medicine Hat. After P.A.’s passing Estella lived on her own at the Scherer Apartments. In her last few years, Estella was lovingly cared for by the staff at the Sunnyside Care Centre, Medicine Hat Hospital 6West and Palliative Care.
Estella’s memory will live on in a special way in the hearts of those she knew and loved.

.FOLLIOTT
With profound sadness, the family of Ronald Perry Folliott announce his passing on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Ron was born December 25, 1941, to Jack and Ruth (Pete) Folliott in Gilroy, Saskatchewan. The family moved to Lawson after his father purchased the post and telephone office; which enabled Ron to visit with everyone that stopped by. Growing up, Ron especially loved and excelled at hockey. He enlisted in the Navy and was a member of the “Sunset Guard.” After the Navy, Ron worked in a variety of jobs, all of which he excelled at. Ron also joined AA and celebrated his 37th AA birthday the week before he passed. Just after his son Trevor, his pride and joy, was born in 1981 he was employed by SIAST, where he held a number of positions until his retirement in 2002. After Trevor’s mother’s passing in 1988, Ron, with the help of all his family, did his best to raise Trevor to be a respectful and caring, gentleman. This did not always mean doing things the conventional way, but as Trevor says, “We sure had some fun!” Ron moved to Medicine Hat in 2002 and shortly thereafter became part of the Connaught Golf Club family. He loved the course and all the people that golfed there, in fact, Ron and Patty Jo purchased their home on the course, and married there in 2007. Although together, only a short time, they experienced a lifetime of travel, love and laughter. Ron approached all endeavors in his life with great commitment and passion and so it was with golf. Needless to say Trevor was riding along in the golf cart when he was still in his baby seat. Ron’s greatest joy in life was to come with the marriage of his son Trevor to Rebecca (MacKay) and then the birth of his grandsons (whom he referred to as “His Boys”): Jackson in 2007; Max in 2009, and Payton in 2011. Of course he had Jackson out on the golf course just like his Dad when he was only 2 and this ritual followed with each of the boys. His love for “his boys”, especially his son Trevor will last beyond the moon and the stars. Ron (Ba) is survived by and deeply missed by his wife and best friend Patty Jo, his sons: Troy (Lisa), Trevor (Rebecca) (Jackson, Max and Payton), his mother Ruth “Pete” Folliott, brother Buzz (Sharon) Folliott and little sister Sherry Folliott (Dennis Hart), Patty Jo’s Mom and Dad: Rob and Lorraine Woolley, Sister in Law Mischelle (Leonard) Folk , all of his deeply loved nieces and nephews and his very special canine girl: “Sammmy” . Ron was predeceased by his father John “Jack” Folliott, his wife and Trevor’s Mom Maureen, and his niece Amanda Folliott. Glenn William Frame of Medicine Hat passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014, at the age of 95 years, beloved husband of the late MaryLou Frame. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Philip (Alma) Frame, Glennda (Barry) Rogers, George (Charmaine) Frame, Jack (Judy) Frame and Tammy (Doug) Duggan; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and William Frame; his wife, MaryLou on December 30, 1990; his three brothers, Hugh, Bob and Jim and his sister, Grace as well as all of their spouses. Glenn was born near Senate Saskatchewan, for a short while they moved to Glentworth Saskatchewan and then at age14 the family moved north of Senate where he was raised and educated. Glenn worked at various ranches in the community. After enlisting with the R.C.A.F., Glenn served overseas for 2 years during the war. Upon his return, he began farming with his brother Bob and in 1948 he purchased the family farm. In 1949, Glenn met MaryLou Backman and they were married on February 4, 1950 in Shaunavon. Together, they continued to farm and raise a family. In 1978, Glenn semi-retired and they moved to Medicine Hat where he purchased a gravel truck and began Frame’s General Hauling. Glenn fully retired in 1984 after which he and MaryLou spent time travelling in their motor home. Glenn was a member of the Redcliff Legion for 52 continuous years. He refinished furniture as a hobby and loved curling, baseball and had Rider Pride. He also enjoyed his many trips to Vulcan to visit his friend Lola Findlay and her family. Francesco “Frank” Mucciarone of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the age of 86 years, beloved husband of the late Giovanna Mucciarone. He leaves to cherish his memory three children, George; Tony (Dawn) (their children, Brandon and Kenzie); Nella; three brothers, John (Susan) Mucciarone, Domonic (Nina) Mucciarone and Nick Mucciarone as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Rosa Mucciarone; his wife Giovanna in 1988, and two sisters, Maria and Penelope. Frank was born on May 1, 1927, in St. Angelo, Italy where he was raised. At the age of 25, he immigrated to Canada and settled in Medicine Hat. Giovanna later joined him in Medicine Hat where they married on December 15, 1959. They made Medicine Hat their home, raising their three children here. Frank loved spending time with his good friends playing golf in the summer and pool in the winter. Gladys grew up in Vancouver, B.C., attended Kitsilano Public School and Fairview High School of Commerce – Commercial. She worked at whatever jobs were available in the ’30s including Hotel Chamber Maid and a Cannery worker. 1941-42 she attended Willis Business College. 1942-45 shejoined the Royal Canadian Air Force Women’s Division as Clerk Stenographer. It was in the RCAF that she met meteorologist Frank Riddle. She made quite an impression on him and they were married June 14, 1945. So the city girlmoved to small town Alberta where they lived in Bassano, Brooks, Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat, and then she lived in Calgary and Lacombe closer to her daughters. They raised two daughters Jacquie (1946) and Janet (1950). She was always home for them while her husband was busy with his career and community service.She enjoyed sewing, reading, swimming, bridge, bowling, golfingand especially gardening.She volunteered with swimming with the handicapped, and various church activities. She was friendly to all and so enjoyed her friends and family all through her life. She never met any of her Scottish relatives until in her ‘60s. Macular Degeneration in later years limited some of her hobbies. In just the last years did her memory began to fail her.Arthritis issues led to the use of a walker but allowed her to keep her mobility until Jan. 22 when a fall broke her pelvis. A resulting infection took her last will to live. At 101 years old, she passed awaypeacefully entering her heavenly home. We have been so blessed to have had her for so many years as she embraced each newphase in her life.
