.1925 ~ BONAGOFSKY ~ 2014
Mr. George Bonagofsky, beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Bonagofsky of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 88 years. George also leaves to cherish his memory one son, Gerard (Jessie) Bonagofsky; one brother, Joe Bonagofsky; two sisters, Kay Mastel and Ann (Frank) Lerner; Pinew, the dog; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Rose Bonagofsky; and three brothers, Martin, Jack, and Clem. George was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan on October 23rd, 1925 and was raised on the family farm nearby. He attended school in Fox Valley, but around the time of World War II he moved to Vancouver. George eventually returned to Fox Valley to farm and in 1967 he married Evelyn. George worked for Alta Linseed Oil Company until 1986 and continued to work on the farm until 2003. He retired to Medicine Hat. George enjoyed playing pool and bowling, and did throw a perfect game! He was also a huge fan of the New York Yankees, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Mrs. Esther “Edna” Hust of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Edna leaves to cherish her memory four children, Ron (Lorna) Hust, Sandy Sanderson (Derick Oldford), Brian Hust, and Gord (Lorna) Hust; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Christopher, Taylor, and Michael Hust; and three sisters. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Dyck; one son, James Edward Hust; and two sisters. At Edna’s request, no formal funeral service will be held. .GULLIFORD
Clarence Roy “Bud” Gulliford passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the age of 84 years. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Cecelia Nesmo of Medicine Hat and Doug “Ashley” Braaten of Brooks; two grandchildren, Kandis Eirich and Klinton Nesmo both of Medicine Hat; three great grandchildren, Mikayla, Kaitlyn and Jadyn. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and George Gulliford; one grandson Joey Nesmo; a son-in-law, Art Nesmo; one brother, Ken and three sisters, Margaret, Elaine and Bernice. Bud was born on March 8, 1929, at Eston, Saskatchewan and was raised on the family farm at Brock. At the age of 15, he left the farm to work hauling logs in Northern Alberta and B.C. He met and married Vicki and they moved to Lancer, Saskatchewan where Bud worked as a farmhand. They then moved to Aden, Alberta and he was employed as a gas operator for Canadian Montana Gas. He purchased the Imperial Oil Bulk Station in Manyberries and at that time he started his career in the oil industry as a consultant. They moved back to Lancer and purchased the Hotel before Bud made his way to Lloydminster and began consulting full time. Medicine Hat then became his home where he continued working as a consultant, retiring 10 years ago. To honour Bud’s request, a private family time of remembrance will be held. Eugene John Siedlecki, beloved husband of Mary Ann Siedlecki of Medicine Hat, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the age of 69 years. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Neal (Lori) Siedlecki, Randy (Wanda) Siedlecki; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Sierra, Darian and Kadence; two sisters, Helen (Ken) Saunders and Lee (Irv) Roth as well as one niece Anita Saunders (Prem) and their family. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Cecilia Siedlecki and his niece Shauna Saunders. Eugene was born on June 12, 1944. On July 23, 1966, he married Mary Ann in Medicine Hat where they made their home and raised their family. Eugene worked for many years as an automobile mechanic at Gardner Motors and then Jackson Dodge. He enjoyed camping, boating, spending time at the acreage and fixing almost anything in his spare time. If something was broke, he could fix it. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. or at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:25 a.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.
