1925 ~ BONAGOFSKY ~ 2014Mr. George Bonagofsky, beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Bonagofsky of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 88 years. George also leaves to cherish his memory one son, Gerard (Jessie) Bonagofsky; one brother, Joe Bonagofsky; two sisters, Kay Mastel and Ann (Frank) Lerner; Pinew, the dog; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Rose Bonagofsky; and three brothers, Martin, Jack, and Clem. George was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan on October 23rd, 1925 and was raised on the family farm nearby. He attended school in Fox Valley, but around the time of World War II he moved to Vancouver. George eventually returned to Fox Valley to farm and in 1967 he married Evelyn. George worked for Alta Linseed Oil Company until 1986 and continued to work on the farm until 2003. He retired to Medicine Hat. George enjoyed playing pool and bowling, and did throw a perfect game! He was also a huge fan of the New York Yankees, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. 1931 ~ MILLIGAN ~ 2014Mrs. Edna Milligan, beloved wife of Mr. Jim Milligan of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Edna also leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Leonard Milligan of Keswick, Ontario, Les (Diane) Milligan of Red Deer, and Glen (Linda) Milligan of Edson; one son-in-law, Jerry Pond; eight grandchildren; eighteen great- grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Annie Scott; and her daughter, Brenda Pond. Edna loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed volunteering at many of the nursing homes in Medicine Hat. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. 1937 ~ HUST ~ 2014Mrs. Esther “Edna” Hust of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Edna leaves to cherish her memory four children, Ron (Lorna) Hust, Sandy Sanderson (Derick Oldford), Brian Hust, and Gord (Lorna) Hust; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Christopher, Taylor, and Michael Hust; three sisters; and one brother. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Dyck; one son, James Edward Hust; and two sisters. At Edna’s request, no formal funeral service will be held. Karen Lynne Kuzniak, beloved wife, of Peter James Kuzniak passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Karen was born in Coronach, SK. and was raised on a farm while attending Coronach School. Sharing a life together for the past 20 years, Karen married Peter on April 17, 2008, in Las Vegas. Karen was a devote member of the HIllcrest Church. She worked managing various hotels over the course of more than 20 years. Some of Karen’s fondest memories were the many friends and patrons she met through those years. She was a strong willed woman, fiesty at times and very hard working as she excelled at everything she did. Karen enjoyed watching curling, baseball games, playing BINGO, travelling and especially time visiting with her family. Her most memorable occasion was the birth of her great- granddaughter, Peyten in 2009. Left to cherish Karen’s memory are her husband, Peter Kuzniak; beloved mother of, Terri (Bret) grandmother of Chelsey, Travis; great-granddaughter Peyten Ann; Troy (Karen) Kessler and their children, Paige, Dax; Lance Trihub; step daughter, Tammy Kuzniak (Rick Stephenson) and her children, Kristi, Nicole, Ryan; siblings, Helen Wagner, Bryan (Marlene) Duncan, Linda Volk, Cheryl Baniulis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen was predeceased by her parents, John & Anne Duncan (1988), John “Jack” Alfred Duncan (2008); mother-in-law, Teenie Kuzniak (1996); brothers-in-law, Darryl Baniulis (2003), Alvin Wagner (2006) and Edward Kuzniak (1998). SIEDLECKIEugene John Siedlecki, beloved husband of Mary Ann Siedlecki of Medicine Hat, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the age of 69 years. He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Neal (Lori) Siedlecki, Randy (Wanda) Siedlecki; four grandchildren, Wyatt, Sierra, Darian and Kadence; two sisters, Helen (Ken) Saunders and Lee (Irv) Roth as well as one niece Anita Saunders (Prem) and their family. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Cecilia Siedlecki and his niece Shauna Saunders. Eugene was born on June 12, 1944. On July 23, 1966, he married Mary Ann in Medicine Hat where they made their home and raised their family. Eugene worked for many years as an automobile mechanic at Gardner Motors and then Jackson Dodge. He enjoyed camping, boating, spending time at the acreage and fixing almost anything in his spare time. If something was broke, he could fix it. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. or at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:25 a.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.
