PISONIIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Pisoni on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the age of 48 years, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Along with his wife Stacey, left to honour and cherish Mario’s memory are his two sons, Aidan and Jonas; parents, Maria Rosa (LucianoÝ) Pisoni; brother, Ron (Michelle) Pisoni; his in-laws, Jim and Doreen Geiger; brother-in-law, Shawn (Karen) Geiger; three nieces, Tiana, Kalista and Andrea and his nephew, Camron as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He returned to Medicine Hat and was employed by Shockware for 13 years. In 2000, he started working at Memory Lane Computers where he continued to work until he was no longer able. Mario loved the field he was in and enjoyed the many challenges each day held. He looked forward to going to work each day and would go out the door whistling. In 1993, Mario married his best friend Stacey and they recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with 2 boys and Mario could not have been happier or more proud than on the days his sons were born. Mario enjoyed the simple things in life and tried not to take anything for granted. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his big smile, his thoughtfulness, his soft heart, his attention to detail, his sense of humor and his love of mustangs. The family would like to thank Dr. Prince and the staff in the palliative care unit at the Medicine Hat hospital for the excellent care and special attention they gave Mario. Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:25 a.m. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Monday, at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (238 2nd Ave N.E.) on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr.
