.1937 ~ MASER ~ 2013
Mrs. Gloria Maser of Medicine Hat, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Monday, November 11th, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Gloria leaves to cherish her memory her children, Patricia (Chuck) Donnelly of Seven Persons, Darren (Dawn) Maser, Sharon Maser and James Maser, all of Medicine Hat; four grandchildren, Matthew (Christy) Donnelly, Amber Donnelly, Justin and Jordan Maser; six great grandchildren, Tiffani-Ann, Tianna, Jennifer, Korina, Savanna and Taven Donnelly; one brother, Dennis (Louise) Miller of Medicine Hat; one sister, Valerie Miller of Medicine Hat; numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Frances Maser and Marion Stickel; and one brother-in-law, Larry Maser. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Anna Miller; her children’s father, Chris Maser; his parents, John and Elizabeth Maser; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Gloria was born in Medicine Hat on September 25th, 1937 and was raised on the family farm at Hilda. She attended school in Hilda, then high school in Medicine Hat where she boarded at the ‘Dorm’ and became a member of the extended Dorm family. She attended Normal School in Calgary before teaching school in the Medicine Hat area, Bowmanton, Antelope Cut, and Cypress View, where she met and married Chris Maser on July 3rd, 1959. She then continued to teach at McKay Creek, Goose Lake and Schuler. In 1966, she retired from teaching to raise her family. She later attended Garbutt Business College, then worked at Motor Vehicles for 17 years and then Cedar Square Registries, retiring in 1999. Gloria liked golfing, reading, doing puzzles of all kinds and listening to all the Tiger hockey games. She also spent many hours volunteering at the Gift Shop in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. The Memorial Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, November 15th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Marjorie Elaine Bildfell passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013, at the age of 65 years, beloved wife of Bob Bildfell of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Kevin (Carla) Golem of Lloydminster and Mark (Mel) Golem of Calgary and their father Gerald (Marsha) Golem of Simmie, Saskatchewan; eight grandchildren, Randi, Kali, Joshua, Maya, Mackenzie, Andrew, Elliot and Marie; (Bob’s children, Kim Bildfell, Launa (Kevin) Simpson and Jared Bildfell; Bob’s grandchildren, Kara, Donavon, Reese, Travis, Tanner and Kasey; one great granddaughter Vanna); one brother, Bill (Donna) Zaremba; two sisters, Betty (Rick) Miller and Toni (Richard) Klink; her step mother, Salome Zaremba of Swift Current as well as her uncles, nieces, nephews and Bob’s family. She was predeceased by her parents Adeline and Alfonse Zaremba and one brother Bob Zaremba. The funeral service will be held in Westminster United Church (101 6th Street SE) on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Leroy Angle officiating. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 16. .Joining together to sing Blessed Assurance, family shared in a private time of remembrance at Hillside Cemetery as they paid tribute to the memory of their much beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Ralph Moss. Later that same day, friends gathered together with the family at Temple Baptist Church, further celebrating Ralph’s life through scripture and song. Numerous touching moments echoed through the church as the video tribute shared insight into the life of this much beloved man.
