.A week ago today, an intimate gathering of friends and family joined together at Cook’s to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable lady, Kaye Hickerty. An abundance of flowers decorated the chapel and brightened the settings for a classy service… Father Le led in scripture and offered peace in his words… Kaye was all about family and it was family whom offered their personal touches with wonderful music, spiritual readings and memories that reflected the life of a lady that was deeply loved and cherished. She would have been proud.
Be not afraid,
I am with you through it all.
And you shall see the face of God
And you will live.
Her Life Lived…
Her Life Cherished…
Her Life Honoured.

. McBAIN (ACKERMAN)
A graveside service was held at the Red Deer Cemetery in Red Deer, Alberta at 1:00pm on August 24, 2013. The family of Candis McBain and her helpers and their family attended a beautiful service with written sentiments by her daughter Margorie, poem by her daughter Dixie and final words by her daughter Kenolynn. Candelabra was lit by her nephews and words and music were presented. Her marker was at her mother’s gravesite along with 2 of her brothers, whom had been placed there before her.
She was a remarkable lady and we were all privileged to have had her in our lives for 99 and one half years.
May the Lord’s blessing be with all.
