Several items of official business are on the agenda of the first meeting of Lethbridge’s new council Monday. The meeting starts at 1:30 p.m. in council chambers.
A motion will be put forward that city council request the City Manager to provide a report on the impact of the recent changes to the transit system as well as a report on the status of the “Go Friendly” transit service.
There is also a motion calling for the City Manager to bring back options in adding more off-leash dog parks in the city.
Another motion calls for the City Manager to bring back options similar to current downtown redevelopment incentives which could be offered across other commercial districts within Lethbridge.
Another motion involves ECO drop-off sites.
All of these motions were moved by councillor Ryan Parker.
