Baby tradeshow offers one-stop-shop for parents
By Alejandra Pulido-Guzman - LETHBRIDGE HERALD on October 28, 2021.
The annual Lethbridge City and Baby Tradeshow took place at Exhibition Park’s Heritage Hall on Saturday featuring over 40 locally-owned businesses where new parents and parents-to-be were able to shop for clothing, accessories and home décor among other options.
The tradeshow has been running twice a year for about 10 years, but was the first one under the management of Danielle Doeler.
“This is my first-time hosting and running this event. There was another lady in charge before, but she moved, so I was able to take over the trade show and keep it going,” said Doeler.
The tradeshow runs once in the fall, which happened on Saturday, and in the spring with the next one being in April 2022.
“It will be at Heritage Hall until the new exhibition grounds are open and then we will move to the new facility,” said Doeler.
Organizers provided a mother’s lounge for moms to be able to feed their babies, a change table, and coffee and snacks.
Attendees were able to shop for clothing, accessories, home decor, as well as health & beauty; and find information on support services, fitness options and more.
