EDMONTON – Former Alberta premier Jason Kenney has resigned as a member of the legislature. In a signed letter posted on Kenney’s verified Twitter account, he says the resignation is effective immediately. OTTAWA – The Wild Species 2020 report released Tuesday identifies more than 5,000 species that are extinct or at risk of going extinct in Canada.
