NEW YORK — An Associated Press source says two people were killed when an Air Canada jetliner from Montreal crashed into a rescue vehicle at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Aviation officials have said 72 passengers and four crew were on board the plane when it crashed late Sunday.

The source, who was familiar with the investigation, spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter.
