CP NewsAlert: Dangerous person alert lifted by RCMP after shooting in Saskatchewan

BIG ISLAND LAKE CREE NATION, SASK. — Mounties are lifting a dangerous person alert but are still searching for two suspects in a shooting in a Saskatchewan First Nation.

One person was killed in the shooting at Big Island Lake Cree Nation, 392 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.

Mounties say three other people were injured by gunshot.

RCMP say investigators believe there is no longer an imminent risk to public safety.
