CP NewsAlert: David McGuinty replaces Bill Blair as defence minister

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney has dropped Bill Blair from cabinet and named David McGuinty to the role of defence minister.

McGuinty was recently in charge of public safety, which is now being headed by former justice minister Gary Anandasangaree.
