By Canadian Press on March 13, 2025.

VANCOUVER — Vancouver police have issued an Amber Alert for two-year-old Theodore Lim, who they say is believed to be in imminent danger.

Police say the boy is thought to have been taken from a location on East Broadway by his father, Davis Lim.

They say Theodore Lim has a medical condition that requires a ventilator, but he is currently without a piece of that equipment and may go into medical distress.

They say the boy is believed to be with his father and his two female siblings, aged eight and 11 years old.

Police have released photos of the man carrying his child along with the ventilator box and a hose that appears to be attached to the boy’s face.

They say the man may be travelling in a 2006 blue Volkswagen Jetta with B.C. license plate 325 VCH.

The suspect is five-foot-nine-inches tall with black hair and was seen wearing a green T-shirt with a white logo and black pants and shoes.

Theodore Lim is two feet tall, weighs about 35 pounds and he was wearing all grey with black shoes and white soles.
