WASHINGTON – Donald Trump is about to make more must-see TV – this time on the heels of a damning verdict in a New York courtroom.

The former U.S. president was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation Tuesday in the civil suit brought by the magazine writer E. Jean Carroll.

Tonight, he’ll take questions from voters in New Hampshire during a live television town hall hosted by CNN, Trump’s favourite media foil.

The famously combative front-runner for the Republican nomination for president isn’t the only high-profile member of his party with legal woes.

Rep. George Santos, the freshman New York congressman with a reputation for fictionalizing his background, now stands accused of defrauding the state and misleading campaign donors.

Santos was charged today with 13 counts, including wire fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds and lying to the House of Representatives.
