OTTAWA – The Supreme Court of Canada says Quebec’s ban on possessing and cultivating cannabis plants for personal purposes is constitutional.
In a unanimous decision, the high court says Quebec’s legislature has jurisdiction to prohibit the possession and cultivation of cannabis plants at home for public health and security reasons.
