Amid various options at the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program to get closer to the world, one upcoming walk is taking it back to basics. “Twenty minutes in nature is the minimum that we need to feel the positive benefits of vitamin ‘N’ in our lives,” said assistant chief interpreter Mhairi Donnelly. “So, put some good shoes on your feet, bring your to-go cup and a friend, and we will see what we can discover on our walk.” Participants will meet with interpreters at the Kin Coulee Bandstand on April 1 at 2 p.m. before taking a “gentle amble” around the park. Those with a camera or binoculars are encouraged to bring them in case of any particularly picturesque sights or wildlife encounters. This program is free to participate and requires no registration, but as it does take place outside, those interested are asked to dress for the weather. 5
