Workforce development workshop presented by provincial chamber of commerce

At the beginning of March the Alberta Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free webinar designed to provide participants knowledge, skills and abilities to implement talent supply-chain solutions.

The Talent Pipeline Management webinar runs Mar. 4 and will highlight the TPM academy training, which was developed by the U.S. Chamber Foundation and offers collaborative peer learning and real-world strategies to address labour market challenges.

The workshop will be held by Jeff Griffiths, program director of Talent Pipeline Management, a Canadian military veteran who began a career in industry and consulting and has co-authored several research papers related to improving human capital policy and practice.

According to the event overview the online webinar is aimed at both employers and educators, and will offer hiring tools and insights into the evolving training needs of the economy and making sure programs remain relevant.

The free online workshop runs Mar. 4 from 1-2:15 p.m. A link to register can be found on the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce website.
