Free workshop for small business owners

On Thursday small business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to participate in a free workshop in Medicine Hat that will explore how to access capital and showcase financial options available.

The “Money Talks: Funding Options for Small Businesses” presentation and workshop held by Business Link Alberta is an informal in-person workshop that will include a panel discussion focused on how small businesses can access capital and navigate funding options from startup to growth and expansion.

Additionally, the workshop will feature insights for local experts and business owners who will be sharing their real-world experiences and providing free information, resources and tools that can be accessed through Business Link Alberta and its partners.

The panel includes manager Darrel Rolheiser, business adviser Jordan Pomrenk, technology development adviser Brandy Old, pharmacist and entrepreneur Melisssa Hozack and business adviser Jesse D’lppolito.

The small business workshop is held in collaboration with Alberta Innovates, ATB, Medicine Hat College, BDC, Women in Business Medicine Hat, Commuter Futures Entre-Corp and APEX Regional Innovation Network of SE Alberta.

The free workshop will run from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Feb, 12 at the Beveridge, however organizers are asking participants to pre-register as space is limited. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
