newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Oyen RCMP are investigating a break-and-enter that occurred at the community centre in the small hamlet of Bindloss, located approximately 130 kilometres north of Medicine Hat near the Saskatchewan border. Mounties say at some time between Jan. 6 and 7, an unknown person or people broke into the community centre and stole numerous items worth thousands of dollars. Police say the suspect or suspects stole alcohol, a meat grinder, sound system and animal mounts, which are family heirlooms. The suspect(s) also caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the building electrical systems. Officers are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Oyen RCMP detachment at 403-664-3505, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. 7
