Nomination window open for Alberta Business Awards

The nomination period is open for 2026 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction that highlights local businesses driving innovation, building stronger communities and raising the bar for excellence in management and sustainability.

This year residents can nominate businesses in 12 categories ranging the Community Attraction Award to the Indigenous Business Award and Female Entrepreneur Award, each recognizing businesses or organizations with outstanding achievement within their fields.

Nominations can be made on the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction 2026 webpage through the Alberta Chamber of Commerce until Feb. 28.

Last year, QinetiQ Target Systems Canada in Medicine Hat won the Global Growth Award of Distinction.

A ceremony will be held in Edmonton on June 18 to honour all nominees.
