newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Nickolas Grunwald, 44, and Coutney Scouten, 33, are both facing charges following a break-and-enter in Forty Mile County sometime in early January or late December. Bow Island RCMP initiated an investigation Jan. 19 after the victim of the break-and-enter saw his property for sale on the online market Kijiji. Mounties suspect the break-and-enter occurred between two and four weeks previously at a property in Forty Mile County. Grunwald and Scouten allegedly stole several items including dirt bikes, tools and various vehicle parts which were sold on Kijiji. Mounties say the victim located the buyer and it was determined he had no knowledge of the break-and-enter. Earlier this week on Jan. 25, Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Bow Island and were able to recover a dirt bike and a vintage hood ornament belonging to the victim. Grunwald and Scouten have been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. Grunwald has also been charged with possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking. Both suspects have been released following a Judicial Interim Release Hearing and are scheduled to appear before court Feb. 19. 10
