MHIP and MHPL launch Winer StoryWalk, which combines reading and nature into one

sees the launch of the Winter StoryWalk, a collaboration between the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program and the Medicine Hat Public Library.

Until Feb. 28, participants are encouraged to take a walk through Police Point Park and read this year’s book of choice, Snowmen At Night by Caralyn Buehner.

Every child who completes the StoryWalk can return to the Nature Centre to receive a token, which they can take to the Medicine Hat Public Library and exchange for a prize. Tokens will be distributed while the Nature Centre is open, Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Prizes may be claimed at the library until Mar. 8.
