Voting opens for Medicine Hat News’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards

The Medicine Hat News is kicking off its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, asking readers to vote for their favourites to find the best local businesses in the Hat.

Hundreds of local businesses will be listed under 11 categories competing to be the Best of Medicine Hat.

Winners will be crowned in the following categories:

– Automotive

– Dining & Clubs

– Electronics

– Health & Beauty

– Home & Decor

– Pets

– Realtor

– Retail

– Services

– Sports & Fitness

– Community Fun

Voters can cast a vote for their favourites once per day in each subcategory from now until Feb. 22 at 11:59 p.m.

Any votes cast in excess of the daily limit will be disqualified.
