A member of Siksika First Nation and Calgary has been arrested and charged with manslaughter. Gleichen RCMP responded to a report of an assault on the Nation on Dec. 25 at 8:48 p.m. The victim was determined to need medical attention when officers arrived and was transported to a Calgary hospital. The victim passed away on Dec. 26, with an autopsy Dec. 29 determining the manner of death to be homicide. RCMP Major Crimes Unit took carriage of the investigation. Paul Glen McMaster was arrested Tuesday for the murder of Jarrett Solway and was ultimately charged with manslaughter. McMaster has been remanded into custody following his Judicial Interim Release Hearing and is set to appear in Alberta Court of Justice on Siksika First Nation today. 5
