Interpretive program invites nature lovers to art night

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is putting out the call for nature lovers and art enthusiasts alike to join them for art night at the Nature Centre.

Planned for beginners, participants will create a nature scene using watercolours and acrylic paints on Jan. 10, starting at 7 p.m. The event is $20 per person with all materials provided, and attendees will take home their creations at the end of the night.

As space is limited, those interested are asked to register by calling 403-529-6225, or visiting the Nature Centre.

“Come and enjoy a relaxed, fun and educational evening of painting. And while you’re here, don’t forget to check out our Young Artists Inspired by Nature display, running throughout January,” said park interpreter Rhys Mah Poy. “We look forward to seeing you there!”
