Prairie Pride Guild holding fundraising bottle drive on Jan. 10

The Prairie Pride Guild of Medicine Hat and District posted a date for its annual bottle drive fundraiser, set for Jan. 10.

The funds will go directly to continuing to fund inclusive, low-cost events for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies throughout the year. Over the course of 2025, this included 21 events, 18 of which were free to all to attend.

They will be collecting bottles from 1-4 p.m. at the Big Marble Go Centre on the date. Those interested in donating their bottles but can’t attend on the day of are encouraged to reach out to prairieprideguild@gmail.com to arrange for an alternative pickup.

The guild also extended its thanks to Blowers and Grafton for donating bottles on a monthly basis.
