Afternoon balloon drop planned at Big Marble for New Year’s Eve Fest

The Big Marble Go Centre will ring in the New Year ton Wednesday afternoon with several free family activities, as well as an afternoon balloon drop to mark the start of 2026.

The New Year’s Eve Fest begins at noon and includes free, all-ages events like floor hockey, skating, family games, inflatable bouncy alley and learning to play soccer.

The event also includes a tot time and a sensory quiet play area and door prizes.

To simulate a ‘midnight’ countdown for children, balloons will be dropped at 3:45 p.m. to welcome in 2026.

Tickets are sold out for both the family nerf wars events as well as swimming spots, however all other activities are open by drop-in and free for everyone.

At the time of publication there were still 15 tickets available for the New Year’s Eve Fest Fitness Class focusing on muscle and strength.
