Stampede’s Beef Pen Show kicks off this afternoon

Today marks the opening of the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede’s Beef Pen Show and Cowboy Christmas Trade Show.

This year marks 27 years of the now well-entrenched holiday tradition, hosted down at the Cypress Field House Dec. 19-20. Festivities begin at 2 p.m. with cattle viewing and the opening of the trade show and continue with the Sweet Pro Feeds Steak Sampling at 6 p.m., with the opening of the Pen Show close behind at 7:30 p.m.

The trade show opens back up on Saturday at 9 a.m., running until 5 p.m. alongside the Pen Show. With raffles, cattle viewing featuring hundreds of breeders and exhibitors over dozens of categories, as well as some last minute Christmas shopping opportunities.
