The CPKC Holiday Train is anticipated to come through town this Sunday, bringing with it lights, music and general seasonal cheer.

The Train is about 1,000 feet in length, sporting various led light displays across the 14 cars, as well as a modified box car that is used as a stage for performers. This year will mark the 27th year of the Holiday Train making its tour across Canada and the United States.

For the stop in Medicine Hat, performers are planned to be Lanco and Tiera Kennedy. Residents are invited to come out to see the performance when the train comes through the city, expected to arrive at 3:15 p.m. with the show running 3:15-3:45 p.m. All the festivities will take place at Queen & North Railway St., east of CP Station.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a food donation.
