With the snow in full swing, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is hosting a free walk to talk about wildlife in winter. Participants will stroll the park and chat about which animals migrate, which ones stay year-round and what insects and arachnids are up to when the weather cools off. They will also look at the fish in the river, frogs and snakes. The walk will meet at the Nature Centre on Dec. 27 at 11 a.m., but MHIP assures that if the weather takes a turn for the worst, there are alternative plans to be able to learn all about winter wildlife while warm inside. 4
