Vigil to honour victims of gender-based violence goes Saturday at MHC

The Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society will host on Saturday the annual Vigil for the National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women, honouring those lost to gender-based violence.

Held at Medicine Hat College, the vigil will take place from 4:30-6:30pm.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend this event, which recognizes those lost in the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre as well as victims of gender-based violence in Canada this past year.
