Noticing Nests walk will offer close-up glimpse of the region’s many feathered friends

Residents are invited out to a neighbourhood tour of the homes of their feathered fellow Hatters, with the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s “Noticing Nests” nature walk.

“We have so many interesting and different bird nests all around Police Point Park,” said park interpreter Rhys Mah Poy. “On this walk, we’ll go for a leisurely walk around the park to discover these various bird nests. We will chat about the different birds that call these nests home, how the nests are built and more.”

Those interested in participating are encouraged to bring their own binoculars and to dress for the weather.

No registration is required and there is no fee associated, those participating merely need to meet in Police Point Park at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 26.
